Activities and Things to do in West Sussex
Castles, The South Downs and More...
A number of people stay at - Linchens Bed and Breakfast - whilst they are visiting relatives in the West Sussex area, but there are many leisure activities and things to do as well.
Visit one of the many historic houses, National Trust owned attractions, or castles - Hever Castle (near Sevenoaks, Kent), Leeds Castle (which of course is nowhere near the city of Leeds, but right here in South East England!) and Dover Castle can all make ideal day trips just along the motorway.
It takes between 15 minutes and an hour to reach a wide range of castles or National Gardens that are open to the public. Chartwell and Windsor are easily reached via the M23 and M25 motorways, with the seaside at Brighton another popular diversion for guests.
London attractions include the many West End Shows and theatre productions, museums and galleries. London is a particularly popular day trip destination for Americans and European guests keen to discover our unique culture and history.
